I definitely do NOT have a Green Thumb. It doesn’t stop me from trying to plant a flower garden in my backyard. I bought this really cool plant stand from my friend last year after I watched a show on container gardening. So, on this sunny April day in Texas, I, once again, have filled my planters with some beautiful plants. I am always hopeful that this is the year they will thrive. I planted White Caladiums, Petunias, Sweet Mint and Coreopsis. Let me tell you, summers in Houston are HOT. I never had time to water the plants in the morning. Last summer, every day I left for work and the plants were all perky and pretty, but by the time I got home they looked wilted and sad. Now that I’m working from home, I will take better care of my plants.
