Quick and Easy Philly Cheesesteak

This Philly Cheesesteak recipe is super easy. I use deli roast beef and bolillos from the bakery. Bolillos are like little Mexican baguettes. You can substitute sub rolls. I usually add sliced mushrooms.

Ingredients

1 Onion cut in slices

1 Bell Pepper cut in strips

2 tbsp Butter

1 lb Roast Beef from the deli, cut thin and sliced into ½ strips

2 cups Beef broth

2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Black Pepper

4 Bolillos or Sub Rolls

Provolone Cheese slices

Step 1

Add more info about the service. Melt butter in a large saucepan.  Add onion and bell pepper and saute till soft for about 5 minutes.

Step 2

Add roast beef, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.  Cook over medium heat till it boils, then cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Slice open the bolillos or sub rolls, spoon meat over each bread and top with provolone cheese.  Broil in oven till cheese is melted.
